Negocjacje w sprawie wieloletnich ram finansowych UE
W lipcu 2011 roku instytucje UE przystąpiły do cyklicznych negocjacji w sprawie nowych ram finansowych. Ramy te mają służyć określeniu priorytetów budżetowych UE na lata 2014–2020. Negocjacje powinny zakończyć się na początku 2013 roku. Dzięki temu ramy będą mogły wejść w życie w 2014 roku, po tym jak przyjęte zostanie stosowne ustawodawstwo.

The European Semester
On 17 June 2010, the European Council adopted the Europe 2020 Strategy which provides a framework to put the European economies on the path to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. It also agreed on the introduction of the European Semester, an EU level policy coordination tool which is part of a broader EU aim to strengthen economic governance
