PGAI 9421 – SIGRID MICRO
The SIGRID MICRO is an ultraportable VPN crypto that provides secure communication, making it possible for employees on the move to use encrypted tunnels to communicate in a secure way over public IP-networks. It protects sensitive and classified information at the RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED level.
The VPN crypto has been developed by Tutus Data in a joint project with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Swedish Armed Forces.
Key aspects of the design of the SIGRID MICRO are high security and user friendliness combined with a very small form factor and market leading performance.
The SIGRID MICRO is based on IPSEC standards and supports digital certificates for automatic key exchange. The Encryption takes place using AES256 (256 bits).
The VPN crypto has an intuitive user interface that provides easy access to all functions in a standard web browser. Once configured it requires no additional interaction with the end user.
The SIGRID MICRO is powered over a USB port, weighs in at only 150 grams and fits into the palm of a hand. This makes it a very flexible and mobile VPN crypto with a performance of 10 Mbit/s.
