Monthly summaries of Council acts

Every month, the General Secretariat of the Council prepares a summary of Council acts, thus allowing the public to follow the Council's activities in detail. This practice dates back to January 1999.
The monthly summaries of Council acts list all legislative and non-legislative acts adopted by the Council in a given month. The document also contains further details of the adoption of those acts, namely the date of adoption, the relevant Council session, the number of the document adopted and, where appropriate, the applicable voting rules, voting results, explanations of vote and statements published in the minutes of the Council.
Certain acts of limited scope such as procedural decisions, appointments, decisions of bodies set up by international agreements, specific budgetary decisions, etc are not included in the summary.
It should be noted that only the minutes of the Council are authentic. They are available on this internet site, under
"Documents > Legislative Transparency > Council Minutes".
