Access to Council documents

Can I have access to Council documents?

  • Documents available to the public can be downloaded directly from the Public Register of Council documents.

  • If the content of the document you are looking for is not available in the Register and you would like to request access, click on "Submit a request for access to Council documents" on the Public Register home page. Requests are treated under the terms of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents.


Please note that any documents or document references contained in the register are not legally binding. Only legal acts published in the Official Journal are binding.
