Conclusions of the European Council

Where can I find the conclusions and other statements of the European Council?

The European Council website offers the Conclusions of the European Council immediately and in full in all EU languages.

  • From the Conclusions page, conclusions are accessible from 1993 onwards. Conclusions from before 1993 can be obtained on request from the Council's archives.
    For more information, please contact the Council's Public Information Service.

  • The English, French and German versions of the conclusions for 1985 - 1993 are also available on the European Parliament's website.

  • Until 1 December 2009, the conclusions of the European Council were called Presidency Conclusions.

  • The European Council website also contains other statements by the heads of state or government, press releases, etc.
